Veterinary Receptionist
Grove Veterinary Practice is looking for a Receptionist to join our team in our Grovetown office. The Receptionist will greet and assist clients and patients during their visits to the practice.
The ideal candidate will deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all visitors. This person has excellent communication and customer service skills. He/she has a basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures/systems and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome Clients and patients who arrive at the office and clarify the purpose of their visit . Answer all phone calls and emails sent to the main office and provide inter-office messages as requested.
- Send out and receive mail, documents, supplies and packages. File and keep good records. Maintain and schedule daily appointments and check up.
- Obtain and attach necessary files to patient records. Take payments and provide receipts and necessary documents for clients and staff
- Keep Client areas clean and organized
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly environment for clients and patients
- Check in and discharge patients when applicable
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and continue to adapt
- An understanding of veterinary medicine and terminology
- Passion for veterinary medicine
- Reliable, professional, courteous and patient
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proficiency with Computers
- Multitasking abilities
