Grove Veterinary Practice is looking for a Receptionist to join our team in our Grovetown office. The Receptionist will greet and assist clients and patients during their visits to the practice.

The ideal candidate will deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all visitors. This person has excellent communication and customer service skills. He/she has a basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures/systems and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Welcome Clients and patients who arrive at the office and clarify the purpose of their visit . Answer all phone calls and emails sent to the main office and provide inter-office messages as requested.  
• Send out and receive mail, documents, supplies and packages. File and keep good records. Maintain and schedule daily appointments and check up.  
• Obtain and attach necessary files to patient records. Take payments and provide receipts and necessary documents for clients and staff
• Keep Client areas clean and organized
• Maintain a welcoming and friendly environment for clients and patients
• Check in and discharge patients when applicable

Requirements:

• Willingness to learn and continue to adapt
• An understanding of veterinary medicine and terminology
• Passion for veterinary medicine
• Reliable, professional, courteous and patient
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Proficiency with Computers
• Multitasking abilities
